The venture was born in Austin, Texas, with the idea of easing fundraising for both people and communities.
The process starts with the creation of the fundraising page, with customizable images, descriptions, help texts, donations and URLs.
Then, it goes on to connect the page with the Stripe payment platform.
When the page is ready to launch, the third step encompasses divulgation.
HelloFund has its own Marketing Guide, where people can learn how to promote their campaigns.
Lastly, there’s measurement. Raisers can keep track of performance analytics and financial reports to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their projects.
Beyond collecting funds via transference, HelloFund also hosts events that build engagement and raise final numbers.
Some include silent auctions, live auctions and raffles.
It also allows making full-mobile bidding and donations via text message, ticketing, sponsorship and paddle-ups.

The chosen core language for the platform was JavaScript, to which we added Next as its main framework.
Likewise, we handled the database with GraphQL. With this stack, we fulfilled the requirements needed to achieve a high-quality platform.
